Really Reese's Peanut Butter Brownies

Once upon a time there was a day that I promised my teenager I would make him some peanut butter brownies.   In our grocery store there are no peanut butter brownie mixes....Say what?!?!

Needless to say hunger, strong will and some creativity took over to produce some glorious Really Reeses Peanut Butter Brownies.

Here is the glorious, simple recipe:

Ingredients:
1 box Fudge Brownie Mix for a 13x9 pan
1/4 c water
2/3 c vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/2 bag Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
1/2 tube Pillsbury Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spray glass 9x13 pan with cooking spray
  3. Mix Brownie mix with water, oil and eggs
  4. Add Peanut Butter Chips to Bownie mix and stir
  5. Pour Brownie mix into pan
  6. Next break off pieces of the cookie and drop into the brownie mix.  It should look like this...
Don't forget to eat the remaining cookie dough while doing this...one for the brownie pan, one for me.

7.  Unwrap and place your Reese's peanut Butter cups in the pan next.  Ours look liked this..
any leftover reeses are fair game and can be wrapped in cookie dough for indulging
(ps disclosure: remember eating raw cookie dough is now bad for you, so if something would happen when you ate it sorry not my problem consume at your own risk)

8. Place in oven and bake according to brownie package instructions: 25 minutes
9.  Check brownies once toothpick comes out clean you are good.  (believe ours took an extra 10 minutes)
10.  Wait until they cool and enjoy....
I would also recommend adding some peanut butter ice cream on your little piece of heaven while it is warm for your super extra pleasure.

Enjoy the Peanut butter overload.
