Watery Weekend

Just typing that title makes me all happy inside.   It has been such a long time since we have been boating.  Between taking a kid to camp and camping...backpacking and the number one deterent...craptastical river conditions due to rotting carp and some e coli tossed in just for fun, it was about time we were able to get out on the boat again.  Very Very Happy Boaters we were..

 A stop at the newly discovered sandbar to show the littles the funny truck that was stuck in the water.

 

 Everytime we go out the littles just get braver and braver.   That is our Capt. Morgan checking out our direction.

 Hard to see in this picture, but our little cooper was chasing waterbugs and slashing them with his sword.

 And now some views from my little inflatable lounging mat....Sunday was hot and sunny a perfect day to float and be lazy.

 That would be the Cooper who was practicing his kicking skills holding onto my floating mat.  He did absolutely amazing at that sandbar.  It is so strange since he was the crier at swimming lessons yet while on the sandbar he owns it.

Another thing learned was how to get in and out of the boat via the ladder all by themselves.

 These two are just getting so big and growing braver by the minute.

 And since it was hot and sunny, we finally took the tube out for a quick spin.  First up was the little bro and then L.  Neither of them ended up falling off the tube while we were moving either for the win.

 And that was our glorious water weekend...now to corss our fingers and hope that we get one more time out.
