Water Weekend Round ?? Lost Count

Yet another weekend has gone by.  The Wisconsin weather was dreary on Saturday.   Used that chance to head over to Fleet Farm and Menards aka it is a dreary day and I can't be on the boat, so let's find a project for the hubbie to do.I can say I was successful in that endeavor and we now have a new picnic table to have dinners on in the summer.  Plus he picked up a trailer hitch to tow the boat.  Then he found this...
He was not the only one missing the boat.  And here is the lovely crazy, kind of crooked picnic table that now graces our patio area.

Since he worked so hard, it was only approriate that I indulged and did some sampling for a possible boat beverage.
Found this at the liquor store (obviously).  Since I tried the hard cider when we stopped in Green Bay, I have come to the conclusion that I need to try more.  Conclusion on this one was it is good as long as it is cold.  Otherwise it taste like cold medicine.

Saturday evening we were suppose to be lighting fireworks with the littles, but the weather decided at that point it was going to pour out.  We did discover that Joey the tree frog moved back into the littles dump truck....then we found a toad.  It was like little boy heaven.

At one point that little tree frog was attached to the front of Moo's shirt.

Sunday equaled boat time.  Thank goodness or the tears may have been really shed by the hubbie.  Slightly windy but a beautiful day. And Forest and Miss K joined us again.  Starting to like his girlfriend more and more.

The boys sitting on there favorite log.

And then we kind of found this when we moved a cushion.  Let's all cross our fingers and hope that Joey the Tree frog didn't decide to come boating with us without our knowledge.  The littles though made sure that we put sleeping Joey in the water, so he could wake up and go home to his mommie and daddie.

And the day would not be complete without a stop at Skalliwags.

There you have the weekend that was. And now we restart the countdown until the next.
