October Favorites

Now that we are clearly into November no better time then to hit on some of my October favorites.  Life just seems to get a little busy at times or lack of ambition sets in, either way.  On with it, peeps.

1. Tornados....What!?!  Who in their right mind have this as a favorite.  Well this girl.  Why because it happened in October.  Not like May, June, July or August like it would normally in Wisconsin. So therefore this natural disaster gets a favorite mention this month.

Shout out to quality time in the basement.

 

2. Carmel Apples.   I wait all year for this.  Yes, you could have it in another month. But, not the same (at least in my world)



and the extra bonus this year...being accompanied by these dorks making the pumpkin farm even more fun.

 

 

3. Homecoming. My son actually going to his first homecoming dance.

 

 

 

4. Mommie and me time.  Getting all dressed up and going to see Jersey Boys with my mom and have some pretty awesome food (and cocktails) afterwards.

and even though I mentioned possibly just a few times before that dress was the bomb.  Had pockets and everything.  Super awesome.

 

5. Corss Country Sectionals and getting to see all the kids hard work pay off.

 

Amazingly proud of him of this year for overcoming his injuries and never giving up.  Great Spirit.

 

6. And, of course.  Halloween.  Let's hear it for actually celebrating this year.  No let me rephrase that, how about finally getting dressed up and going out as an adult.  Pub Crawl.  Yeah we rocked our costumes.

 

And now that is definetly a wrap for a very packed month of October.  If only it felt like we were in November instead of December.  Way too much Christmas going on for me right now people.  Let's enjoy the turkey before the tree.
