The Haul Day

Give a teenager $100 and unleash them in the mall for their winter clothes shopping.  And this is what you get.....

In addition to the above items there is also an additional pair of jeans.  She seized the opportunity to actually pick up some summer items from the clearance racks.    She will be rolling over $5 to her Summer clothes budget.

And now the Forest haul...

Now the new freshies he is sporting were not part of the clothing budgets.  Just couldn't resist the chance to put the picture of him getting photo bombed by the chiweenie in there.  He really didn't need or want much. Partially think it is because he is a boy.   He got a sweatshirt and then not shown two pairs of pants.  His roll over  $21.

Then there was the mom haul.  Can't just let the kids have all the fun.

And aside from just shopping until we dropped we also had a little bit more fun during our day.  Like going here:
The steppie and myself have never eaten there before.  Delicious. Enjoy our delights.
People I am seriously going to just stop there and pick up a whole cheesecake one day.  Amazing.
Then we realize what happens when you allow Forest to take charge of the camera.

To end our day out, we ran off to the late viewing of the Percy Jackson movie.  We are all fans of these books and have read the entire series.
Talk about a packed day.   My head hit the pillow that night and I was just plain done.

  1. That seems like so much fun! :) I went shopping with my mom the other day, and it was just really great! Seriously, new clothes give you a confidence boost during the first few days of school!
